WILMINGTON, N.C. (WRMT) — On Sunday, a man was arrested following several accusations of waving a gun around downtown Wilmington.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers arrived at South Front Street near Dock Street to find Noel Dolliole, 38, of Wilmington.
WPD says Dolliole was banned from a bar yet returned and started waving a handgun around. A bar employee was able to take the firearm away from Dolliole before officers arrived, a WPD announcement states.
Dolliole was arrested and charged with going armed to the terror of the public, 2nd-degree trespassing and concealing a firearm after consuming on a prohibited premise.
He was placed under a $5,000 bond.
