WILMINGTON, N.C. (WRMT) – An altercation that led to a stabbing left one person dead and another hospitalized on Carolina Beach Road.
On Sunday, Nov. 12, at 6:20 p.m., police were called to the 2800 block of Carolina Beach Road and Marion Drive.
“Upon arrival, units located two males suffering from stab wounds. It was also determined that they had been struck by a vehicle in the roadway,” the WPD release states.
One person died from their injuries on the scene and the other was transported to Novant Health NHRMC by EMS.
“This is an ongoing investigation and appears to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the WPD at (910) 343-3609 or by using the Tip 411 app,” the WPD states.
