BEVERLY HILLS, C.A. (WRMT) — On Tuesday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its 2024 Oscar nominations.
Christopher Nolan’s biographical thriller about J. Robert Oppenheimer, titled ‘Oppenheimer,’ leads the race with a whopping 13 nominations.
The dark comedy ‘Poor Things’ directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, starring Emma Stone, earned 11 nominations – including Best Actress.
Other notable films in 2023 that received nominations where Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ ‘Zone of Interest,’ and last year’s biggest hit ‘Barbie.’
